Hello, my name is Yamanqui, 47 years old. My passion and my profession are architectural design, interior design, urban planning, construction and all the engineering that entails the realization of projects.

My experience in design began in a professional way in 1997. That year I practiced design from its purest precepts: concept, symmetry, flow, colors, simplicity, spaces, universality and light. At the beginning of the millennium, I moved to Canada, where I also gained experience in theoretical and practical landscape design. I have worked for clients in various countries: Canada, United States, Germany, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. I hold the Trend Setter award from Design Shock Magazine.

Over the years, I specialized more in design and engineering. My key goal was and is to find ways to build better homes. To provide access to new construction techniques and creation of innovative materials. Finally, to build more efficiently and ecologically, at price points which are accessible for my clients.

 

In 2013 I made my first construction using my new techniques. The result was a hostel called Guacamundo, in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. This hostel had a capacity for 113 people, dining area, reading area, lounge, café and other amenities.

 

I recognize that it has been a long journey. Initially I found people were hesitant to explore new building methods. Many clients still favored more conventional designs and materials. I retained therefore the ability to build in a traditional manner as well.
